Mark and his colleague where fantastic last week. They were prompt, clean and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. They achieved a tremendous amount in a short space of time. If you are moving house, we really couldnt recommend Mark and George highly enough. Had a few problems with other elements of our move, however Scotwell Removals have been the only consistent service we have received.

From house to storage and then from storage to our new property; our 2 services were dealt with professionally and efficiently.

Great lads and excellent service.

In reality they probably saved us having to buy new furniture due to our hallway and sofa sizes failing to match up. However their perserverence in trying every available option meant they got them in.

Really good help with moving some furniture. Took good care of the stuff, and were very helpful!

Mark&George did a really good job. Very prompt, efficient and helpful. They were really careful and moved awkward furniture without any problems. I would thoroughly recommend them for any removal job.

I have moved 30 times and always used large companies.This time I was downsizing and did not need a a large van so I choose Mark’s company. They were without doubt the best removers I have ever used. Definitely the lads to use for a removal. Moved a couple of miles down the road on the 10 of Sept and the lads were very efficient and friendly and nothing was a bother to them.

We had to wait a long time for the keys to our new home to be handed over so this was stressful enough but Mark and George took everything in their stride and then said they were off to the gym for a workout at the end of the removal:-)

As I had heavy oak furniture I wanted a professional removal company not a man with a transit van (which I had previously with horrifying incidents) . After ringing around I couldn’t believe the prices quoted compared to Scottwell Removals.

They really do banish the saying “you get what you pay for”.

They should advertise as “you get more than you pay for” 😀

I would totally recommend this firm to anyone. I was charged by the hour, as wasn’t a full house move. Couldn’t believe how quick the move was, they are really hard working and nice friendly lads. Was dreading the move, but went without hitch. They were a lot cheaper than any of the other quotes I received, but the service was second to none. 🙂

Absolutely professional. Mark and George worked very hard to move us into a three storey house with winding stairs. They were held up at midday because of a delay in getting the keys but continued to work above and beyond. Really impressed with them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their firm.

The boys (Mark and George) provided a great service – pitched up on time, got stuck in and moved me from a semi-detached bungalow to a 2nd floor flat (that had no lift). Very professional, friendly and reliable – nothing was too much trouble for them.

Can highly recommend these chaps ….I’ll definitely be using them again in the future!

Superb service from first call to finish. Moved my 2 bed flat contents from Durham to Aberdeen with great care, professionalism and attitude.

We ended up waiting a while for the keys being exchanged but they didnt utter a word. Great lads, brilliant company. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I found this company through facebook and the price they quoted me for a full house move was very cheap so I was a bit worried about my move. No need…They are brilliant. Mark & George are great lads and do a fantastic job.

The weather was terrible on the day we moved but they used floor protective sheets which kept flooring at both properties clean and dry. All my belongings were transported professionally with no damage or breakages.

I would highly recommend these lads to anyone needing a removal service. Definitely my first choice for removals big or small from now on.

The lads who came were really friendly and efficient. They were punctual and managed to get all our furniture across no bother. We would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

We were moving house from a 2 bed house with all the furniture to go to a house just 1 mile away. Mark and his colleague arrived 20 mins early which was brilliant. The van was packed up, delivered and unpacked at our new house in 2 and a half hours. We had to be out of our old house by lunchtime so we made excellent time. Mark and his colleague were extremely well organised and friendly. It took away some of the stress of moving. If we moved again we would definitely use them. Highly recommended.

Very impressed. We moved from a 3rd floor flat to another 3rd floor flat. The guys just trooped up and down without stopping until the job was finished. Great attitude, fit, strong lads who were polite and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to move.

Great communications from start to finish. Mark moved a 2bed house from Gateshead to Leeds. Got me cheap boxes and gave a great quote. Tidy and clean & very fast packing with everything securely tied and wrapped for protection. Arrived in Leeds before us (still not sure how!) :(( unloaded in no time with items in specific rooms.. Had floor sheets covering my brand new carpets 6(^)6

Superb movers, you won’t find a cheaper or better option.

Mark recently moved me from Ponteland to Kendal then back again after my job didnt go as planned. Both times his company was exceptional, great working ethos, hard workers, friendly and quick. Mark434Two friendly and helpful guys – both willing to go the extra mile to help out (e.g. part dismantling a desk to minimise risk of damage, packing a few extra things we hadn’t thought about – e.g. hoover, a few small bags we had resigned to putting in the car) We had an incident with a spillage in transit which some people would have reacted angrily too but these guys were very patient and understanding and helped to minimise the impact. They were very friendly and polite, and quite insistent on making sure carpets etc didn’t get damaged. They did the job quicker than I expected too. Would highly recommend them!

Mark and George were very nice and friendly as well as professionals. Nothing got damaged or broken and they put the items and boxes in the right rooms, which helped us a lot. My mum and I were very pleased with them and would definately use their moving house company again in the future.
