Brilliant service, all of our furniture was moved with no fuss and very efficiently. Definitely recommend these guys, no job too small, or to large. If I ever move again I’ll definitely use these guys. Great friendly service.

Great service from the lads! They turned up on time, got the job done in a really time effective and organised way and they took the time and effort to look after our stuff moving it from our house in to storage. Could not recommend these guys enough. Moving has to be the single most stressful thing we have done, especially as we have a 8 month old daughter, but scotwell took all the hassle of the move and made it much simpler. We paid to have them pack which saved us a lot of time, a service I’d highly recommend. They were professional throughout and came in on budget. Use with absolute confidence. Thanks again lads

A big thank you for the Amazing service!! These guys make sure your stuff comes out of that van the way it came in. He put down cloths on our carpet so it wouldn’t get dirty and plumbed in our washing machine which were things you don’t expect normally. Good value for money (we paid £108 for two hours work). They had tools for us to dismantle the beds and took anything extra that would fit into the van. If anyone is moving home these removals are the ones I will be recommending to anyone in future.

I moved last week from Rowlands Gill to Deckham. I was very impressed with the service. Mark and Rob did the job quickly and for a great price, I would definitely recommend them!

Unfortunately it had snowed heavily on the day we chose to move. Mark and Rob still came and loaded the van despite heavy traffic and poor conditions. We knew access at the other end might be tricky as we now live on a hill. However they did try to get to our new house to unload, unfortunately this was going to be too dangerous so we decided to try again the next day. They stored all of our things in the van over night and managed to get them to us the following afternoon.

Moving is stressful enough and this situation didn’t make it any less stressful however Mark and Rob we accommodating and did there best to make a difficult situation better. I was particularly impressed that they didn’t charge me extra fees to keep our things overnight which I’m sure some of the bigger companies would have done. Once they came to unload they did so very quickly. This is the first move we have done with movers, they are definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend Mark/Scotwell Removals – we were quoted a price 3 times lower than we had been charged for an identical move a year before. Additionally, Mark worked very hard at the move, and was knowledgeable and friendly. I will be using Scotwell Removals in future and recommending them in the strongest terms to my friends and family.

Used these guys a few times now. Absolutely spot on and reasonably priced. Works out better and cheaper than hiring a van yourself and heaving the stuff around yourself.

Mark runs a very professional and competitive service. The two lads (Robert and Stephen) sent to carry out my removal were very friendly and managed to joke about the job being on the top floor (most of my rooms were in the attic of a converted Victorian house!!). These guys never stopped all day and couldn’t do enough to help. The job was to be paid by the hour but they refused Tea breaks and wanted to crack on. I’m in a short term rental now and will definitely use this company again when I move to my next house.

Moving my things from Newcastle to Leeds was proving to be a pain to organise until I found Scottwell removals. I immediately enquired and received a quick reply and good quote.

Stephen was polite, professional and he was very communicative when I had enquiries. He turned up well on time and strapped in my more valuable items. He was incredibly friendly and I had a blast chatting with him about various things as we drove down to Leeds.

We made it in good time, and used one of the trolleys to help move everything as quickly and efficiently possible. Highly recommend these guys!

Moving is meant to be a tedious, boring job but Steve made it quite a delight! I had braced myself for a long afternoon of conveying heavy articles upstairs but to my unanticipated surprise and relief Steve took every last item upstairs and wouldn’t let me handle any heavy items. The whole thing was done within 10 – 15 minutes. I remain thankful, very much so; and fingers crossed I hopefully have not caused him backache. It was indeed most kind him; I mean, he was not in any way obliged to do it! Also, we had a friendly conversation en route wherein I learnt one or two new astonishing facts! In all I’d like to thank both of you for a service well superior to what I had judiciously expected. MARYAM.

Definitely the lads to use for a removal. Moved a couple of miles down the road on the 10 of Sept and the lads were very efficient and friendly and nothing was a bother to them.

We had to wait a long time for the keys to our new home to be handed over so this was stressful enough but Mark and George took everything in their stride and then said they were off to the gym for a workout at the end of the removal:-)

As I had heavy oak furniture I wanted a professional removal company not a man with a transit van (which I had previously with horrifying incidents) . After ringing around I couldn’t believe the prices quoted compared to Scottwell Removals.

They really do banish the saying “you get what you pay for”.

They should advertise as “you get more than you pay for” 😀

The boys (Mark and George) provided a great service – pitched up on time, got stuck in and moved me from a semi-detached bungalow to a 2nd floor flat (that had no lift). Very professional, friendly and reliable – nothing was too much trouble for them.

I found this company through facebook and the price they quoted me for a full house move was very cheap so I was a bit worried about my move. No need…They are brilliant. Mark & George are great lads and do a fantastic job.

The weather was terrible on the day we moved but they used floor protective sheets which kept flooring at both properties clean and dry. All my belongings were transported professionally with no damage or breakages.

I would highly recommend these lads to anyone needing a removal service. Definitely my first choice for removals big or small from now on.

We were moving house from a 2 bed house with all the furniture to go to a house just 1 mile away. Mark and his colleague arrived 20 mins early which was brilliant. The van was packed up, delivered and unpacked at our new house in 2 and a half hours. We had to be out of our old house by lunchtime so we made excellent time. Great communications from start to finish. Mark moved a 2bed house from Gateshead to Leeds. Got me cheap boxes and gave a great quote. Tidy and clean & very fast packing with everything securely tied and wrapped for protection. Arrived in Leeds before us (still not sure how!) :(( unloaded in no time with items in specific rooms..
